Bodeyco is seeking a Business Development Lead to help grow our network of agency, brand, and creative partners. This role will focus on generating qualified opportunities, managing outreach efforts, nurturing industry relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the company across commercial, fashion, music, and branded content projects.
About the role
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for Bodeyco through strategic outreach, relationship building, networking, and partnership development. Working closely with company leadership, this individual will help expand Bodeyco's presence within the creative, advertising, fashion, entertainment, and brand marketing communities while maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective projects.
This position is structured as a fixed-term independent contractor engagement with a monthly retainer and performance-based commission structure, depending on experience, availability, and scope of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outbound business development strategies.
- Build relationships with agencies, brands, creative directors, producers, and marketing teams.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities and RFPs.
- Manage CRM activity, lead tracking, and pipeline reporting.
- Coordinate introductory meetings and networking opportunities.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and existing clients.
- Research prospective clients and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with leadership on positioning, proposals, and growth initiatives.
- Represent Bodeyco at industry events, screenings, conferences, and networking opportunities where applicable.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working at a production company, creative agency, post-production studio, talent management company, or brand marketing team.
- Familiarity with the bidding, estimating, and project award process within commercial production.
- Experience generating new business opportunities through outbound outreach and relationship development.
- Knowledge of the fashion, lifestyle, luxury, music, entertainment, and cultural marketing sectors.
- Established relationships with agency producers, brand marketers, creative directors, or procurement teams.
