Aperture

In partnership with Aperture, Sunday Special and Boys Will Always Be Boys by Carlos Idun-Tawiah were presented throughout 2023 across major international art fairs, reflecting a collaborative approach to curation and editioning that shapes the long-term presentation and value of the work. Exhibitions included Art Basel Miami Beach, Paris Photo, Art Toronto, and The Armory Show.

Across each presentation, the exhibitions maintained a consistent curatorial framework while allowing the work to live within varied institutional and fair environments. Together, the two projects explored themes of identity, representation, and personal narrative through a tightly edited photographic language.

We collaborated closely with Carlos and Aperture on both curation and edition strategy, helping define how the work was released and presented.
