Bodeyco is seeking a Business Development Manager to support business development and relationship-building across our network of brands, agencies, and creative partners.
About the role
Bodeyco is seeking a Business Development Manager to support business growth by building and maintaining relationships with brands, agencies, and creative partners. This role is focused on generating opportunities, opening doors, and supporting early-stage client conversations. You will work closely with the Founder to help drive inbound interest and convert it into active projects.
The position is centered on outreach, relationship-building, and business development rather than day-to-day production oversight. This is a freelance, contract-based role structured around performance and project-based growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients across brands, agencies, and creative networks.
- Drive outreach through email, introductions, and existing relationships.
- Book and support introductory calls and early-stage conversations.
- Track leads, follow-ups, and active opportunities.
- Support pitch efforts with decks, case studies, and light prep as needed.
- Maintain ongoing communication to keep Bodeyco top of mind with partners.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder on growth strategy and positioning.
Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of experience in client partnerships, business development, or sales within production companies, creative studios, agencies, or media, with an existing network of client and agency relationships.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Confident, clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Comfortable with proactive outbound outreach and consistent follow-up.
- Self-directed and able to operate independently in a freelance capacity.
- Strong understanding of creative production workflows and how projects move from pitch to delivery.
